Capital One Venture X Business Offer: Up to 300K Miles and $1,000 Travel Credit

Capital One has launched a limited-time welcome offer on the Capital One Venture X Business to mark the card’s third anniversary. Eligible new cardholders can earn up to $4,300 in travel value when they spend $120,000 in the first 4 months from account opening.
Here’s what the offer includes, how it compares to the card’s previous offer and other popular business cards, and who it makes sense for.

What’s in the New Venture X Business Offer?
According to Capital One, the up to $4,300 in travel value is made up of:
- 300,000 bonus miles
- A $1,000 bonus to use on Capital One Business Travel
- The card’s $300 annual Capital One Business Travel credit
The bonus is earned in two tiers. You get 150,000 bonus miles after spending $40,000 in the first 4 months. Reach $120,000 in total spending in those same 4 months, and you get another 150,000 bonus miles plus the $1,000 Capital One Business Travel credit.
The card has a $395 annual fee (See Rates & Fees).
How Does It Compare to the Previous Offer?
The card’s previous offer was 150,000 bonus miles after spending $30,000 in the first 3 months. The first tier of the new offer pays the same 150,000 miles at the same pace of about $10,000 a month. It just takes one more month and $10,000 more in total spending.
Calculation formulated by Kudos, based on dividing each spending requirement evenly across its time window.
The second tier is where the new offer stands apart. Businesses that can reach $120,000, or about $30,000 a month, double the bonus miles and add the $1,000 travel credit.
How Does It Compare to Other Popular Business Cards?
The Capital One Venture X Business sits between two other popular business travel cards: a premium card with a higher annual fee and a lower-fee card built around bonus categories.

Venture X Business vs. The Business Platinum Card® from American Express
The Business Platinum Card® from American Express has an $895 annual fee (See Rates & Fees), more than double the Venture X Business’s $395 fee. In exchange, it offers a broader set of premium travel and lounge benefits. It earns its highest rewards on travel booked through American Express Travel, while the Venture X Business earns 2X miles on every purchase.
Choose the Business Platinum if you’ll use its premium perks enough to justify the higher fee. Choose the Venture X Business if you want strong rewards on everyday spending without tracking categories.
Terms apply to American Express benefits and offers. Enrollment may be required for select American Express benefits and offers. Visit americanexpress.com to learn more. Eligibility and Benefit level varies by Card. Terms, Conditions, and Limitations Apply. Please visit americanexpress.com/benefitsguide for more details. Underwritten by Amex Assurance Company.
Venture X Business vs. Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card
The Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card has a much lower $95 annual fee. It earns 3X points on shipping, advertising, utilities and travel on the first $150,000 in combined purchases each account anniversary year, then 1X, and 1X on everything else.
Choose the Ink Business Preferred if most of your spending falls in those categories and you want to keep costs low. Choose the Venture X Business if your spending is spread across many categories or you value lounge access and the $300 annual travel credit.

Who Should Consider This Offer?
This offer fits businesses that already spend heavily on things like inventory, advertising, software and travel. If your business can reach $40,000 in 4 months with expenses you’d have anyway, the first tier is within reach. The full offer is realistic only for businesses spending around $30,000 a month.
If you’d have to pull purchases forward or spend more than you normally would, the bonus is unlikely to be worth it.
Is There an Offer for Existing Cardholders?
Yes. In a separate promotion announced on September 30, 2026, Capital One said eligible existing Venture X Business cardholders can earn a $500 Capital One Business Travel credit after spending $3,000 on Capital One Business Travel bookings by December 15, 2026. Check your Capital One account to see if you’re eligible.
The Bottom Line
For businesses with large, predictable expenses, this is one of the more valuable business card offers available right now. Capital One describes it as limited-time, so check the current terms before you apply.
