How to Get FIFA World Cup 2026 Tickets with Chase Sapphire Cards
July 1, 2025

The FIFA World Cup is coming to North America this summer, and if you're a soccer fan, there's an exclusive way to secure tickets before the general public: Chase Sapphire credit cards are offering early access to World Cup matches across all US host cities.
Starting February 10, 2026, Chase Sapphire cardholders will have exclusive access to purchase tickets for matches taking place from June 12 through July 18, 2026. Here's everything you need to know about scoring World Cup tickets and whether getting a Chase Sapphire card is worth it for this opportunity.
Which Chase Cards Qualify for World Cup Ticket Access?

How to Buy World Cup Tickets with Your Chase Sapphire Card
The ticket purchasing process requires a few steps. First, you'll need a free FIFA account if you don't already have one. Then, between February 10 at 12 p.m. ET and February 24, 2026 (or while supplies last), follow these steps:
Visit Chase's Sapphire Experiences website and look for the dedicated FIFA section labeled "Access tickets." You'll need to verify your eligibility by entering your Chase Sapphire card number. Once verified, you'll receive a unique link redirecting to the FIFA official ticketing site, where you'll complete your purchase. Chase recommends saving this link, as eligible cardholders can only receive up to two links.
Each cardholder can purchase up to four tickets per match and up to 40 total tickets for the entire tournament. Note that you cannot use Chase Ultimate Rewards points for these purchases since tickets are sold directly through FIFA's system.
Where the US Will Play
The US men's national team is guaranteed at least three matches as one of the tournament's host nations. Their group stage schedule includes a June 12 match in Inglewood, California, against Paraguay, a June 19 game in Seattle against Australia, and a June 25 match in Inglewood against a team to be determined. If the team advances past the group stage, additional matches will follow.
US host cities for the tournament include Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Seattle.
Is It Worth Getting a Chase Sapphire Card for World Cup Access?
Whether applying for a Chase Sapphire card makes sense depends on your situation. If you're already considering a premium travel card and want World Cup access, the timing works in your favor. Both the Sapphire Preferred and Sapphire Reserve are excellent travel cards that provide value well beyond this single opportunity.
The Sapphire Preferred's annual fee is reasonable for what you receive: strong earning rates on travel and dining, travel protections, rental car insurance, and the ability to transfer points to numerous airline and hotel partners. For casual travelers who want solid benefits without a steep annual fee, this card is a smart choice.
The Sapphire Reserve's annual fee is significant, but frequent travelers can offset it through the card's various credits and benefits. The annual travel credit effectively reduces the fee, and if you utilize the hotel and restaurant credits plus lounge access, the card can pay for itself. This card makes sense for people who travel regularly and will actively use its premium benefits.
If you're considering applying for either card, be aware of Chase's unofficial "5/24 rule." If you've opened five or more credit cards from any bank in the past 24 months, your Chase application may be automatically denied.
What to Know About World Cup Ticket Prices
Chase hasn't announced specific pricing for the tickets available through this program. However, FIFA has faced criticism from fans for setting World Cup ticket prices higher than previous tournaments. Be prepared for premium pricing, especially for high-demand matches like those featuring the US team or knockout stage games.
Making the Most of Your Chase Sapphire Card
Beyond World Cup tickets, both Sapphire cards offer ongoing value for cardholders. The points you earn can be transferred to Chase's airline and hotel partners, giving you flexibility in how you redeem rewards. Travel protections like trip delay insurance, baggage delay coverage, and rental car insurance provide peace of mind when you're on the road.
If you choose the Sapphire Reserve, take full advantage of the card's credits and benefits. Use the travel credit for flights, hotels, rideshares, or even parking and tolls. Access Priority Pass lounges at airports worldwide, and take advantage of hotel and restaurant credits to maximize the card's value.
The World Cup presents a unique opportunity for Chase Sapphire cardholders, but these cards offer lasting value for anyone who travels regularly and wants to maximize rewards on everyday spending. Whether you're chasing World Cup tickets or simply looking for a strong travel card, the Chase Sapphire family delivers benefits that extend far beyond a single sporting event.
