At Kudos, we believe your rewards should work the way you live. Some months you need cash for bills. Other months, you’re loading up your Amazon cart. Now you don't have to choose. You can do both. Members can now redeem their Kudos Boost for PayPal cash in addition to Amazon gift cards.
That means the rewards you earn from smart shopping can go directly into your bank account or toward your next Amazon purchase, or both. This update gives you complete flexibility over how you use the rewards you've earned from thousands of merchants through Kudos Boost.
How It Works
Kudos Boost has always rewarded you at 15,000+ stores when you shop online. Now, when your Boost balance hits 1,000 points or more, you can choose how to redeem:
Cash Out with PayPal
- Get your rewards as real money sent directly to your PayPal account
- Use it anywhere PayPal is accepted
- Transfer to your bank account or keep it in your PayPal balance
PayPal redemptions are final once submitted. We can't cancel or change them, so make sure everything looks good before you confirm.
Your Kudos account must be linked to a valid U.S. personal PayPal account in good standing to redeem rewards to PayPal.

Important: Split Redemption Minimums
If you're splitting your redemption between PayPal and Amazon, each option requires a $10 minimum. That means you need at least 2,000 Boost points ($20 total) to use both redemption methods in the same transaction.
For example:
- ✅ 2,000 points = $10 PayPal + $10 Amazon
- ✅ 5,000 points = $20 PayPal + $30 Amazon
- ❌ 1,500 points = $5 PayPal + $10 Amazon (doesn't meet PayPal minimum)
If you have less than 2,000 points, simply choose one redemption option.
How to Redeem Your Kudos Boost
- Earn at least 1,000 Boost points through Kudos
- Make sure you've connected your PayPal account inside Kudos
- Go to your Kudos Wallet in the Kudos mobile app or the Rewards page on the web
- Select "Redeem Boost"
- Choose PayPal, Amazon, or split between both
- Haven’t linked your PayPal account yet? Just do that, and you should be good to go!
- Enter your redemption amounts - you can split between PayPal and Amazon however you'd like. Each redemption option has a $10 minimum, so if you have 2,000 Boost points ($20), you could redeem $10 to PayPal and $10 as an Amazon gift card.
Your Boost rewards will process within 48-72 hours, and you'll receive confirmation once complete.

How do I get my Amazon gift card?
Amazon gift card codes are delivered via email within 48-72 hours of redemption. You can add the code directly to your Amazon account.
Is there a maximum redemption amount?
No maximum! You can redeem as much Boost as you've earned, as long as you meet the 1,000-point minimum per redemption.
Can I redeem partial amounts?
Yes. If you have 3,000 Boost points, you can redeem 1,000 now and save the rest for later.
Is there a split redemption minimum?
Yes. If you're splitting your redemption between PayPal and Amazon, each option requires a $10 minimum. That means you need at least 2,000 Boost points ($20 total) to use both redemption methods in the same transaction. If you have less than 2,000 points, you can still redeem to a single option (either PayPal or Amazon) with the standard 1,000-point ($10) minimum.
Do I need a PayPal account to redeem my Boost?
Yes, you'll need a valid U.S. personal PayPal account to receive cash redemptions. You can link your PayPal account inside Kudos from settings. Don't have a PayPal account yet? Sign up for a free account at paypal.com.
What email will my Amazon gift card come from?
Your Amazon gift card code will be sent from Kudos to your Kudos-registered email address. If you don't see your gift card, please make sure to check your spam/junk folder. Sometimes they land in there! The email will come from no-reply@joinkudos.com.
Can I change my redemption after I submit it?
Once submitted, redemptions cannot be modified. Please double-check your selection before confirming.
