The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card now pairs its 75,000-mile welcome offer with a limited-time bonus: the Capital One Venture $300 stays credit for Capital One Travel. It is the largest travel credit Capital One has attached to this card, and no end date has been announced.

What the Venture Offer Includes
New cardholders earn 75,000 bonus miles after spending $4,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. Approved applicants also get a $300 Capital One Travel stays credit.
The card carries a $95 annual fee and earns:
- 5 miles per dollar on hotels, vacation rentals, and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel
- 2 miles per dollar on every other purchase
It also includes up to a $120 credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck and charges no foreign transaction fees. Miles do not expire for the life of the account.
Kudos shows your spending progress toward the $4,000 Venture requirement as you go, so you know exactly how much is left before the 3-month window closes.

How the Capital One Venture $300 Stays Credit Works
The credit applies to eligible hotels and vacation rentals booked through Capital One Travel during your first cardmember year. You can split it across one or several stays.
It is narrower than past versions. Earlier $250 Venture travel credits could also cover flights, while this $300 credit is limited to lodging. If you already book hotels through a portal, it works like cash. If you always book direct with a hotel chain for elite credit, it is worth less to you.
This month's transfer bonuses can stretch Venture miles further. See October 2026 transfer bonuses.
Who Is Eligible for the Venture Bonus?
You are not eligible if you received a new cardmember bonus on the Capital One Venture or Capital One Venture X card in the past 48 months. Holding other Capital One cards, like a Savor or Quicksilver, does not disqualify you.
The spending window starts when your account opens, not when the card arrives, so note your approval date. Purchases by authorized users count toward the $4,000.
What Is the Venture Offer Worth?
At a floor of 1 cent per mile toward travel, 75,000 miles cover $750 in purchases. Add the $300 stays credit and the first-year value is at least $1,050 against a $95 fee.
After year one, the card earns its keep on everyday spending. Someone putting $2,000 a month on the card would earn 48,000 miles a year, worth at least $480 toward travel, or more if you transfer miles to airline partners.
Calculation formulated by Kudos, based on a 1 cent per mile travel redemption value and the card's 2x base earning rate.
How the Venture Compares to Similar Travel Cards
Venture vs. Venture X
The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card earns the same 2 miles per dollar on everyday purchases, plus 10 miles per dollar on hotels and rental cars and 5 miles on flights and vacation rentals booked through Capital One Travel. It costs $395 a year and adds premium travel perks. If you mainly want the welcome offer and simple earning, the Venture costs $300 less. Note that the 48-month bonus rule covers both cards, so earning one bonus blocks the other.

Venture vs. VentureOne
The Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card has no annual fee but earns 1.25 miles per dollar on everyday purchases. If you spend more than about $12,700 a year on the card, the Venture's extra 0.75 miles per dollar more than covers its $95 fee, valuing miles at 1 cent each.
Calculation formulated by Kudos, based on the difference between 2 and 1.25 miles per dollar on everyday purchases and a $95 annual fee.
Venture vs. Category Travel Cards
The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and the Citi Strata Premier® Card also cost $95 a year but earn 3x in bonus categories like dining and gas, and 1x on everything else. If most of your spending falls in those categories, they'll out-earn the Venture. If your spending is spread out, the flat 2x usually wins.

The Bottom Line
If you have not earned a Venture or Venture X bonus in four years and you book at least one hotel a year, this is the strongest version of the Venture offer to date. Apply before Capital One sets an end date, then plan your $4,000 spend around purchases you already make.
