A Costco order delivered to your door usually costs more than shopping in the warehouse. But if you stack the right DoorDash promo, a Chase card credit and DoorDash credit you have already earned, a Costco delivery can come out to nearly half off.
Here is how the stack works, what each layer can save, and how to set it up with the cards and tools you already have.

Say you order $120 of household staples from Costco on DoorDash:

Layer 1: A DoorDash Promo Code for Costco
DoorDash regularly runs promos for specific stores, like a percentage off Costco orders above a minimum. In the example, a 20% off promo on a $120 cart saves $24. These promos are usually limited-time or targeted to certain accounts, so check the Deals or Offers section in the DoorDash app before you build your cart around one.
Layer 2: Chase's $10 Monthly DoorDash Credit
Several Chase cards come with a monthly DoorDash promo for non-restaurant orders, and a Costco grocery order qualifies. The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card includes one $10 non-restaurant promo each month, and the Chase Sapphire Reserve® includes two. These promos expire at the end of each month, so a monthly Costco run is an easy way to use them.
