How Far Can 60,000 Wyndham Points Take You? Inside the Earner Card’s No-Fee Offer
September 27, 2026

Barclays has a limited-time welcome offer on the Wyndham Rewards Earner® Card, the no-annual-fee card in the Wyndham lineup. You can earn up to 60,000 bonus points, which is a big number for a hotel card that costs nothing to keep.
What Is the Wyndham Rewards Earner Card Offer?
The offer comes in two parts:
- 45,000 bonus points after you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first 90 days
- 15,000 more bonus points after you spend a total of $2,000 in the first 6 months
Hit both and you have 60,000 points. Barclays hasn't announced an end date, so if you want it, don't wait too long.
Wyndham free nights cost up to 30,000 points per bedroom, so 60,000 points covers at least two free nights, and more at properties that cost fewer points. Resort fees may still apply and can't be paid with points.
Calculation formulated by Kudos, based on 60,000 bonus points divided by the 30,000-point maximum per bedroom for a free night.
How Does the Wyndham Rewards Earner Card Earn Points?
- 5 points per $1 at Hotels by Wyndham and on qualifying gas purchases
- 2 points per $1 on eligible dining and grocery store purchases (excluding Target® and Walmart®)
- 1 point per $1 on all other purchases (excluding Wyndham Timeshare resort down payments)
There's no cap on how many points you can earn. You also get 7,500 bonus points each anniversary year after you spend $15,000 on eligible purchases.
The 5X on gas is the standout for a no-annual-fee card. If you drive a lot, gas alone can make this card earn its keep, even before you book a stay. Just know that 2X on dining and groceries is lower than many cash back cards, so it's worth pairing this card with another one for those purchases.
Kudos recommends the best card in your wallet at checkout, so you'll know when the Earner's 5X on gas beats your other cards and when another card earns more.

What Perks Come With the Card?
- Wyndham Rewards Gold status: you get it automatically, with free Wi-Fi, preferred room selection, and late checkout.
- Cheaper award nights: go free® awards cost 10% fewer points.
- Cardmember booking discount: a discount off Wyndham's Best Available Rate.
- No foreign transaction fees: useful if you travel abroad.
Is the Wyndham Rewards Earner Card Worth It?
It fits you if you stay at Wyndham brands on road trips, spend a lot on gas, and want a hotel card without an annual fee. The two-part offer is also easy to reach with normal spending, at $1,000 in 90 days and $2,000 in 6 months.
If you stay with Wyndham often, compare it with the Wyndham Rewards Earner Plus Card ($95 annual fee) and the Wyndham Rewards Earner Premier Card ($395 annual fee). Both earn more on Wyndham stays and come with higher status. Check each card's current offer and terms before you apply.
If you rarely stay at Wyndham properties, a flexible travel card or a cash back card will likely give you more value for the same spending. Kudos' card explorer lets you compare all three Wyndham cards against other hotel and travel cards, and Dream Wallet shows which one would earn you the most based on how you actually spend.
How Can You Make Sure You Earn the Full Bonus?
The offer has two deadlines, and it's easy to hit the first and forget the second. Set a reminder for day 90 and another for the six-month mark.
Kudos Premium tracks your progress toward welcome offers once your card is connected, so you can see how much you still need to spend and how many days you have left.
