Amex just put limited-time welcome offers on six Delta SkyMiles cards. The biggest is 200,000 miles, and it is on a card most people are not looking at. Every offer ends November 4, 2026.
The 200,000-Mile Offer Is on the Business Card
The Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card is offering 200,000 bonus miles after you spend $20,000 on purchases in your first six months. It is the largest public offer we have seen on any Delta card.
The Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card is a different card with a different offer: two domestic round-trip Delta Comfort flight certificates plus 50,000 bonus miles after $10,000 in purchases in your first six months. Apply for the personal Reserve expecting 200,000 miles and you will not get them.
The catch is the spend. $20,000 in six months works out to about $3,333 a month on one card. Unless your business already spends that much, you will struggle to hit it.

Six of the seven Delta cards have an elevated offer through November 4, 2026.
- Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card: 200,000 miles after $20,000 in purchases in six months.
- Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business American Express Card: 100,000 miles after $8,000 in purchases in six months.
- Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card: 90,000 miles after $6,000 in purchases in six months.

Personal or Business Delta Card: Which Offer Is Better?
On miles alone, business wins. The Platinum Business offers 100,000 miles against as high as 90,000 on the personal Platinum. The Reserve Business offers 200,000 against 50,000 plus two certificates on the personal Reserve.
The personal cards fight back with statement credits and, on the Reserve, the flight certificates. The certificates cover domestic round trips in Delta Comfort, with taxes and fees of up to $80 per person, and require booking at least 21 days out. They are worth the most on expensive routes you would fly anyway, and far less if your dates do not work.
Do you have a business? Freelancing, consulting and selling online can all count. If you do, and the spend fits, the business cards win on miles.

What Does Chasing a Welcome Offer Actually Cost?
Every dollar you put toward a spending requirement is a dollar not earning on your other cards. Route $20,000 away from a card that earns 2% cash back and you give up $400.

200,000 miles is worth well over $400, so the Reserve Business offer clears the bar if you were going to spend $20,000 anyway. If you have to invent spending to get there, the math falls apart fast.
Lower in the lineup, the math is easier. $3,000 in six months on the Gold is spending most households cover with groceries and gas.
Can You Get a Delta Amex Welcome Offer If You've Had the Card Before?
Usually not. Amex generally limits welcome offers to once per card, so if you have held that exact Delta card before, expect to be ineligible no matter how long ago it was.
The personal cards also have a family rule that runs downward. Holding the Platinum or Reserve can block the Gold offer, and holding the Reserve can block the Platinum offer. Holding the Gold does not block you from the Reserve. Check each offer's terms for the business cards, since they carry their own restrictions.
Amex's application will usually tell you if you are not eligible before you submit. Also count the annual fee: $650 on the Reserve Business, charged whether or not you finish the spend.

The Bottom Line
If your business already spends $20,000 in six months, the 200,000-mile Reserve Business offer is the one to grab before November 4. If not, the Gold or Platinum offers deliver real value without bending your budget around a deadline. Just do not see "200,000 miles" and apply for the personal Reserve. Different card, different offer.
