Chase Sapphire Reserve Apple TV and Apple Music Benefit (2026)
July 1, 2025

The content on this page is accurate as of the posting date; however, some of the offers mentioned may have expired.
If you're paying for Apple TV, Apple Music, or Apple One every month, your Chase Sapphire Reserve® may already be covering it. Eligible cardmembers get complimentary subscriptions to both services, and as of June 2026, Apple One subscribers can now get $15 off their monthly plan instead.
Here's what the benefit includes, what changed, and how to activate it.
What's the Benefit?
Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers can receive complimentary individual subscriptions to both:
- Apple TV: Stream Apple Originals with no ads, new releases weekly
- Apple Music: Access one of the world's largest music catalogs with Spatial Audio and no ads
These memberships are available through June 22, 2027.
At current retail pricing, Apple TV runs $12.99/month and Apple Music costs $10.99/month, for a combined annual value of $287.76 if you subscribe to each individually.
If you have Apple One: Chase updated the benefit in June 2026 so that each credit now applies as a $7.50/month discount toward your Apple One subscription. Since the CSR includes both Apple TV and Apple Music, those credits stack to $15/month off Apple One. At that rate, Apple One Individual drops to $4.95/month.
Kudos tracks your Chase Sapphire Reserve benefits automatically and alerts you when you have unused credits or perks available, so nothing slips through the cracks.

How to Activate Apple TV and Apple Music on Chase Sapphire Reserve
Activating the benefit takes just a few minutes:
- Open the Chase Mobile app or log into chase.com
- Navigate to the Card Benefits section
- Find the Apple TV and Apple Music offers
- Select "Activate Now" and follow the prompts to link your Apple ID
Each subscription must be activated separately. Once you select "Activate Now," you'll be redirected to Apple's site to connect your subscription.
If you want to activate using a different Apple ID, you must do so through the desktop version of chase.com. This option is not available in the mobile app.
Already activated Apple TV before the June 2026 update? Chase says you do not need to reactivate. The Apple One discount will apply automatically.
Activation deadline: Some cardmembers are seeing a cutoff of December 31, 2026. Activate before then to lock in the benefit.
Kudos tracks all your Chase Sapphire Reserve credits and perks in one place, so you always know what you have left to use before the benefit period ends.
What If You Already Have Apple Subscriptions?
Individual subscribers: If you currently pay for Apple TV or Apple Music directly through Apple, your existing subscription will be automatically suspended once you activate the complimentary benefit through Chase. You won't be double-charged. If you later cancel the Chase benefit, your original paid subscription resumes automatically.
Apple One subscribers: The benefit now applies as a $15/month discount on your Apple One plan rather than running as overlapping subscriptions. After activating both credits, Apple will show the discount starting on your next billing cycle. You may see overlapping subscriptions temporarily before your billing cycle renews. That resolves on its own.
Note: The Apple One discount applies to plans purchased directly through Apple. If your Apple One is billed through a third party like Verizon, the credit may not apply.
How Much Can You Save on Apple One?
After the $15/month discount from stacking both credits:
- Individual ($19.95/mo) drops to $4.95/mo
- Family ($25.95/mo) drops to $10.95/mo
- Premier ($32.95/mo) drops to $17.95/mo
- Premier Family ($37.95/mo) drops to $22.95/mo
Is This Benefit Worth It?
Whether this benefit adds real value depends on your existing setup.
It's a clear win if you:
- Already pay for both Apple TV and Apple Music individually
- Have an Apple One subscription and want to reduce the monthly cost
- Want to try one or both services for the first time
It's less impactful if you:
- Pay for 2TB iCloud storage separately. Apple One Premier with 2TB runs $17.95/month after the discount, compared to $10/month for standalone 2TB storage. Whether the added services make up the difference depends on how much you use them
- Don't use Apple streaming services at all
At up to $288 in annual value for individual subscribers, or $180/year in savings for Apple One subscribers, this benefit offsets a meaningful portion of the card's annual fee when combined with its other credits for travel, dining, DoorDash, StubHub, and more.
The average cardholder leaves hundreds - if not thousands - worth of card benefits unused every year. If you're holding a premium card like the Sapphire Reserve, Kudos can help you stay on top of all your credits and perks across every card in your wallet, not just this one
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I give this benefit to a family member?
Yes. You can activate it using a different Apple ID, but you must do so through the desktop version of Chase's website, not the mobile app.
Does this work with Apple One?
Yes. As of June 2026, activating both the Apple TV and Apple Music credits applies a combined $15/month discount to your Apple One subscription. The discount kicks in on your next billing cycle after activation.
How long does the benefit last?
The complimentary subscriptions are available through June 22, 2027. After that, Chase may renew, modify, or discontinue the benefit.
What if I accidentally paid for Apple Music after becoming eligible for the free benefit?
If you subscribed directly through Apple without going through Chase's activation flow first, contact Apple Support to request a refund. Activate through Chase before subscribing to avoid this going forward.
